Finasteride and drug-screening?

Hello all.

I'm simply wondering if a company's drug screening would show finasteride that you happen to take?

Would truly appreciate an answer. Let's say that hypothetically the one taking finasteride does not currently have a prescription for it, in case this then matters.

You'll be okay if the finasteride properties are not closely related to crack/cocaine or any other type of drugs.

Does anyone actually know if they are? Some chemical the body produces as it breaks them down triggers the crack-call, or something?

Anyway, let's say a company does a health checkup on someone just as they are hired. You don't feel like mentioning the fins, as they are not fighting any debilitating condition anyway, and you don't have a presciption for them because they are legal and easy to import, and not very 'extreme', normally.

Is there anyway they could detect the fins? Reply would be greatly appreciated.

I have been on finasteride for about a year, I have had 3 drug screens for employment this year( I work in refineries and chem plants on short term jobs) and have never had a word said to me.

I have to say no based on my personal experiences.
