finasteride and alcohol

Does anyone else feel the need to pee alot more frequently when drinking alcohol? I noticed this last night and was just wondering if it was normal. Thanks!

Yup, normal, even if you're not on finasteride. Ever heard of "breaking the seal"?

I enjoy drinking many different high Ethylated beers and I don't feel any difference in urination frequency despite taking 0.5 mg of Dutasteride every single day. Of course if I drink a lot, then I will feel the need to urine more frequently. Everyone responds uniquely to the 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors. Unfortunately few do not respond.

cool, was mostly curious about it because i also read an article somewhere that finasteride tends to help heavy drinkers cut back on their average alcohol intake. Doesn't really bother me though considering i dont drink that excessively often, just wanted to see if maybe theres some sort of correlation.
