finasteride & Alcohol

So I have been on finasteride now for about a month, and I use minoxidil on my temples.

I am 25 years old, single, no kids, and fortunate to have a great job and so I life my life accordingly. I go out on the weekends, happy hour during the week, etc. I understand one day my priorities and joys will change (when I settle down) but I'm just not there yet.

I'm curious what (if any) effect alcohol has on the efficacy of finasteride?

I don't know anything about finasteride or alcohol's effect given the fact that I've never taken any of them (neither alcohol nor finasteride)

Well, the leaflet that comes with propecia says there is no known interaction, if that helps.
