Finasteride After Experiation Date On Bottle Effective?

Hello, I’ve been using finasteride 1.25mg daily for about 10 days now and it has almost completely stopped my scalp irritation, itching and inflammation and am shedding much less hair now. However, the bottle says that it expires around September of 2018. I have the pills in a dark cool space and sealed tightly if that has to do with anything. Have the pills lost their effectiveness? Around what time will they lose it if they haven’t already?

i doubt it would make a difference, if it was lifesaving medication, i would have given you a different answer to avoid any risk.
