Finasteride 9.5 Months, Still Loosing Hair- What Now?

Still defo loosing hair, nearly 10 months in.

What do you guys recommend?

Do I wait till 12 months to start using minoxidil or do I start now

Or use something else?

Have you considered switching to Dutasteride? It is approved for male pattern baldness in South Korea and Japan at a dose of 0,5mg/day.

Tbh the recession/ thinning of my hairline has com on pretty rapidly within the last 3 month. I don't know if this will regrow/ rethicken. Worried about the speed at which its going at

I haven’t lost a huge amount but I’m definitely still loosing unless this is like so crazy late shed

Personally, I think people overreact... You should at least give it a go, and maybe even try spironolactone? On 100MG of spironolactone, I experienced no side effects whatsoever besides decreased libido... I'm on 200MG and am experiencing a few side effects, but nothing of the extreme (the people on this site who have used spironolactone + dutasteride didn't either).

I mean, finasteride is one of the weakest hair loss medications. It could be just slowing down the rate of losing hair.
