Finasteride 6 days and Dutasteride 1 day per week?

i want to take finasteride 6 days and dutasteride 1 day per week. Anyone doing this?

On this regime...17 weeks in now. No sides or obvious regrowth so far. Major diffuse thinning and crown gone.

thinning sucks - was the major diffuse thinning + crown going as a result of the dutasteride + finasteride or was it what happened before that provoked you into doing it? have you noticed any shedding at all or is that one of the sides that you are saying you haven't had? i've just ordered my first box of dutasteride and expect it tomorrow - was going to do the 6 days finasteride, 1 day dutasteride (still using nizoral and minoxidil) regimen and am interested to hear people's experiences.

I've been thinning since age 20 and 48 now. Been on minoxidil off an on since 1985 and finasteride for last 12 years with slow degradation of diffuse thinning all over scalp. Crown virtually gone now (very thin). Decided needed a bump to finasteride adding 1 dutasteride per week. No major shed or libido noticeable (1st month major nightly bonage with dutasteride!). Shed not too noticeable at all but at 17 weeks not sure if shed had happened (feels thinner) or if just continue to thin (no thickening) After 6 months, I'll see if any improvement then add another tab to twice per week regime with finasteride daily.

Go fo it. The one tab dutasteride does not appear to be a major change to body.

i've been on it for two weeks or so now, i've been taking it twice weekly. how are you doing now? i'm obviously still way too early in the regimen to have noticed any results - so far 0 sides also. part of me wants to just jump on it every day, but we'll see how twice weekly goes for the time being.

Still nothing....maybe even more thinning at 19 weeks. Hope this is just the shed waiting for the recovery.
Had bad sides with 2 per week...real bad pain in balls and groin. Now scared to go back to even 1 per week with finasteride.

had some sides myself - a day or two (not consecutive) with ballache occurring - haven't had that since early days finasteride. we'll see. good luck!
