Finasteride .50 Mg Everyday Or 1 Mg After Skipping A Day?

i got finasteride about a month ago but i didnt start untill last week (been on it 7 days now, to be exact) . I am having trouble cutting the pills though, i tried taking 0.50mg each day but most of the times half the pill breaks off and i feel like its a waste.

Would it make a difference if i just took the 1mg each other day , so take it today then skip tomorrow etc...?. I have not had any sides yet at all and my libido has actually come increased by a shitload.

0.5 every day would be better... since it has a half life of 8 hours

Get a pillcutter if you're having problems cutting the pill, 0.5mg everyday would be better imo

0.5mg finas is fine. Doesn't matter if you skip a day or two. Just take it at least 3-4 times a week

Half of the pill still crumbles when i use a pill cuter, would the crumbled half still be .50mg ? Or will it be anymore inefficient?

get a better pill cutter lol but the crumbled half should still be .5... if I can cut a 1mg tablet into 4 pieces with out dust or crumble you should for sure be able to do 0.5 with out any issue

It's better to use an very sharp knife and cut it in a table and use a towel as a chopping board so it doesn't crumble

Thanks for the replies guys, i ordered a new pill cutter , hopefully this should work out better lol. I will stick to the .50 mg daily i guess.
