how are you gonna put so much time and bandwidth into these fringe ideas that we all know isnt gonna work? you can eat all the avacados in the world, but its effects arent going to have any weight without more serious treatments

Disagree on this having a chance. Eating or swallowing avocado oil isnt going to saturate those receptòrs like using a good carrier like alcohol or DMSO on the scalp will. DMSO will literally drag a lot of those fatty acids to almost all membranes in the body. Remember that bald old man that grew his hair back after the severe burn. This may have been why as he likely got lucky pure scar tissue didnt form and while he healed for weeks the fatty acids charged his stem cells to produce follicles again. Literally regrew his hair in that area in just 4 months after being bald there for many years.

The only reason im going to get on this regimen is because blocking all my dht with dutasteride orally and even topically didnt do anything for my hair at all. So I need to experiment in other ways and not just focus on blocking dht. But I still believe that dht is an issue but its not the whole picture just a small part of it in my case at least. Some guys regrow alot on dutasteride and finasteride but not me.
Argan oil has a comedogenic rating of 0, meaning it is considered non-comedogenic and highly unlikely to clog pores. It contains oelic acid 43-50% and linoleic 29-37% palmitic acid 11-13% . Avocado oil contains more of these fatty acids but has a comedogenic rating of 2 to 3 on a scale of 0 to 5, making it moderately likely to clog pores. Im going with the argan oil to be on the safe side.

It probably will wòrk the same. They used the 2 acids separately and they both worked so as long as Oleic acid is high it should.

Im really wondering why you still stick around on this forum when you already solved your balding problem with hormones. Why are you still here? Most that still stick around continue to bald or are newcomers.

Thanks. Im going to add this to my regimen. Use the rosemary with dmso and then the fatty acids with dmso and also take these fatty acids orally. Especially avocado oil orally.
To add on to what Law said and this is optional but if you want you can purchase a swimmers cap and apply the pure rosemary oil and dmso mixture to your head like usual and put on a swimmers cap to lock it in to ensure it won't not only get onto pillows clothes etc but this will also ensure that the mixture really drives deep beyond scalp/any 2nd head you may or may not have!
The dmso will get it thru regardless of the swimmers cap or not (if you have long hair it might sit on just the hair ) but that extra security is always good. The swimmers cap basically creates the green house effect but just on the head itself!

I think a normal shower cap would work good too. I have long hair but a swimmers cap are really tight against the scalp and the hair will be pressed hard against the scalp skin and absorb the oils from the scalp. So if I will use any cap it will be a shower cap.

Yeah and what I'm about to say is controversial but dht is not the root cause BUT it does definitely play a role in this phenomenon called Androgenetic alopecia/Male pattern baldness. Dht by far is the most misunderstood hormone. DHT creates secondary male traits but it's also A Anti-inflammatory. Taking dht blockers dosent really reverse balding unless you catch it smack dabb early / before the second head ( fibrosis, plaque, calcium, receeding, etc ) builds up.
Why men are so susceptible to this phenomenon is because our body's naturally produce way more dht than women. And not only that we produce a heck of a lot of collagen too which explains the whole " Men age better than women " thing that some guys like to say.

So it goes like this basically Inflammation 》immune response (tgf-1, dht, etc etc) 》 hair loss .

Could definitely get more into depth but imma make my own thread explaining it all, the root cause, why men are so susceptible to it, why some men despite unhealthy lifestyles don't lose hair, how all/some theories connect to the theory I'm stating etc!

The more I think about this mess its crazy they only just recently discovered this damage - fatty acid - stem cell conneçtion. No one looked close enough before just figuring it was extra bloodflow and nothing else? I think this ties into better angiogenesis also looking at the things that get upregulated.
