Fatty acids stimulate follice stem cells to grow hair? I am going to test this...

That is a basic article on this but the one I read originally said that lab tests suggested it would work on human hairs aĺso. They delivered the 2 fatty acids to the mìce with an alcohol carrier for skin penetration and got the same effect on hairs as the chemicaĺ irritant. It also said one of the researches claimed just as a curious self test he applied the stuff to his thigh and after a while the hair was thicker there.

Since I have removed about all the 2nd head fibrosis and plaque etc in my vertex balding area I am now going to put this to the test. I am curious to see if it charges the new vellus hairs there to become normal hair and if those hairs I had up there that were in a catagen like state for years that finally fell out during my purges up there start growing again.

I am not going to dermaroll or use anything else while testing this either. Avocado oil is loaded with the 2 fatty acids used so I am just going to mix it 50/50 with pure DMSO and that will assure a lot reaches that stem cell area near the papilla.

I do wonder if this might help explain super responders to dermarolling. Is it because they have more fat in their hypodermis area? We know it decreases in balding scalps and this study claims white blood cells are breaking down fat to release those acids to signal the stem cells. Maybe more fat up there equals more acid released?

You post on that youtube channel? Yep I cant wait to see what the results are with this. I don't know much about that hedgehog stuff.
Yup! I'm still investigating Shh as well but at this point I'm ready to make actionable moves to get the ball rolling in taking care of any fibrosis/2nd head I may or may not have via your pure Rosemary & dmso mixture and also stimulating shh pathway!

I know its anecdotal but I can say I was truly shocked how quickly that combo at those % reduced that hardened fibrosis. After I removed the softer stuff in there that hardened stuff was very slow to respond until I used that combo.

This is the the big vèrtex balding spot I have. Damaged my phone so this picture is pretty crappy but a little bèhind the ŕeal thin hair at the front of the balding spot I have some real small vellus hairs. My hair is that crazÿ off red coloring because I was trying to purge with DMSO and ascorbic acid for a while thinking it was hardened calcium and not fibrosis. The stuff was oxidizing after a while. I àlso have somè of the residue from this stiĺl on there. I normally do a standard part which allows me to hide about 2/3 of that big bald spot.I will be able to see what results this really gives after a month plus since I am done with all the purges etc and will just be using this now to see how effective it really is at reviving dormant follicles.

You have a demodex mites infestation.

Did you mix it with alcohol as the carrier and if you did what type of alcohol and how did you mix it? What % of fatty acid mixture and what % of the alcohol?

The reason I am asking is because applying this with 50% of it DMSO limits me to using it every other day only due to the scalp skin needing 48 hours to recover from the DMSO and the stuff is going systemic on me also with the DMSO pushing quite a bit into the bloodstream also. Its making me feel funny for about 24 hours after application with watering eyes and just a general weird feeling. Definitely different than just swallowing avocado oil. I do really lather it on and keep it on rubbing it in every so often so I think me using it every other day would still be about as effective as using it daily as DMSO will assure plenty of those fatty acids are passing the receptors the guy says uptakes them to activate dormant hair follicle stem cells.

I am only 5 days in and here are my observations besides what I said above:

I made a point to mark closely where things stood in my bad balding area and the 2 observations I can make so far in that very short time frame are that the hairs at the top of the area just below the clear balding have apparently woken up. I made clear observations at the start and a few of those hairs are definitely just a little longer. Those hairs have been in a catagen like state for at least the last 6 months where they never went quite that high when I brushed them upward before.

The other observation is those few vellus hairs in the middle have grown just a tad more also. I have not yet seen any new vellus hairs breach the surface that I can spot anyway.

I found an article with the mouse pictures where he applied the actual serum instead of irritation/damage and it was day eleven I think the hairs breached the skin and 20 days when the hair completely covered the skin though it hadn't grown out fully yet. Mice grow hair much quicker than humans I think.

Also in the interview I found he told the news person that he applied the stuff on one of his thighs and at 3 weeks the thigh he applied it to had clearly thicker hair than the thigh he didn't apply it to.
