family history of baldness/agressiveness of male pattern baldness?

hey, i have no family history of baldness, literally none in my immediate family "unlces, grandfathers dad etc...on tiether side........yet i am still losing a lot of hair and my hair has thinned out fairly noticably on the crown. I have seen several posts where Aplunk i think it was told someone that because of his lack of family history the baldness may not be that agressive. SO far its been thinning for maybe a year and its not slowing down i was wondering if there is a link between family history of baldness and the agressive ness/speed of balding?

anythign scientific to back it up or is just a general idea

thanks guys

The aggressiveness and the age your hair loss begins are all genetically programed and inherited.

In your case the male pattern baldness gene has obviously 'skipped' a few generations and decided to reappear in you (makes you wanna kick the cat!). Unfortunately, this isn't an indication of how aggressive your hair loss will be.

Btw there really is noway of predicting what you're gonna get. Although family genetics can give you a likely expectation.
