I have worn a hat at every family gathering for the last year. Even Christmas, thanksgiving, if we go out to dinner. Until I am ready to fully deal with my balding, everyone else can deal with the f*****g hat. Only twice have family hinted at or told me to take it off and I told them to f*** off. You can wear nice clothes and get a nice cab boy hat. It is indeed a prison, but it's better than the alternative - bright lights shining through a sickly diffused rats nest and watching people's eyes climb up your forehead with every discussion.
