Fake tanning and hair loss...

Any evidence linking the two together? I haven't found any proof, just people asking the same question. I would like to know because I am planning to tan over the next several weeks before I go on vacation. This is the first time I am ever using a tanning bed too.

I have heard that eating cool ranch doritios while scuba diving, is major form of hair loss so everyone should avoid that

Yea, it happend to me,it was devistating. I was in the Bahamas doin some scuba with a full head of hair, when hunger hit me, yada yada yada cool ranch doritios and now I take propecia.

You dont have to ruin your trip though, Nacho Cheesier doritos are still safe to eat while scuba diving. Although they dont offer the refreshing burst of cool ranch doritos, they will satisfy your hunger and let you keep your hair.

Another option would be to snorkle instead of scuba, that way you can see some fish and enjoy the cool ranch flavor.

Maybe if I wrote something silly in the title of my story thread I'd get more replies

On a serious note, I noticed accelerated hair loss approx 1-2 months after I used a fake tan for the first time (in a spray booth, all over coverage and didn't use anything to protect the hair).

The hairloss became really rapid and it felt like something alien was in my scalp.

Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) has been known to sometimes cause contact dermatitis.

The thing is, during that time I also killed my body with alcohol, poor diet and had seriously elevated stress levels... so most likely it was just a coincidence but ya never know.
