Actively read the bold passage. We now know that hair regrowth continues between the months 6 and 12, something was not clear for me before.

Of course. Surely you didn't expect haircounts to max-out after only six months, did you? :)

As far as I know, after 6 months, 0.5mg/day of dutasteride acheived hair regrowth not experienced even after 2 years of propecia. That is PROOF that duta is superior to propecia in the long run, something I wasn't sure of before.

That's true, but I feel the need to point out here that in the large Propecia trial done by Merck, the finasteride haircounts maxed-out at the 1-year point in the study. By 2 years, they had already started to decline very slightly. It would be fascinating to see when dutasteride haircounts max-out, but we don't have any dutasteride studies going past 1 year.

Six month difference between 0.5 mg/day dutasteride users and placebo: 125.1 hairs.

1-year difference between 1 mg/day finasteride users and placebo: 107 hairs.

(Keep in mind here that a very important, albeit subtle assumption is being made here, which is that both of those trials had similar sensitivites in their abilities to perform haircounts in the first place. It seems like a fairly reasonable assumption, but nevertheless it should be pointed out.)

I'm saying that those were two different trials with (presumably) two different sets of medical teams, two different sets of medical apparatus, two different sets of medical procedures, etc. What if one team was able to see and count hairs (especially very FINE vellous hairs that are much harder to see than other much more coarse hairs) better than the other team?

In other words, if the methods used by the two medical teams weren't absolutely IDENTICAL, that would make a direct comparison of haircounts in the two studies rather imprecise and questionable.

"After both 6 and 12-month intervals, hair loss was found to not only have been halted in twins using dutasteride, but hair growth was actively improved. The rate of growth increased between the 6 and 12-month evaluations, while hair loss continued steadily in the placebo group."

Just to let you know...

I thought that in the 17 twin test, dutasteride did just as good as proscar at the 1 year mark.
