Extra Lace And Exposing The "edge".

A question for lace system wearers who might expose the edge of their system.

In my attempt at wearing the hair "up" around the perimeter in my current system, I am finding that no matter how good the bond (tape or glue), that when I try and do a high topknot, the hair will pull on the edge, and pull up on the lace (see pic, desired look).

The first system did NOT have this issue, because of the cut-in style included a blend with the system (a slight perimeter of system hair cut VERY short, and blended with faded side hair). Even after I shaved my side and back hair, this still worked. The second system did NOT get cut (no one here in Israel I can find to cut something they have not sold).

Since I wish to continue with my attempt at the Viking look, I had the idea that with the current system under production, that the perimeter of lace that is left after production is NOT trimmed to the very edge of the hair, and a few mm is left, and then that is glued down to the skin.

Does anyone think that this can work? My thinking is, the lace sinks into the glue, becomes invisible, and then the stress is not at the edge of the system, but a couple of MMs in almost like what is done at the hairline.

Does this sound like something that could work?

Thanks, guys.

Steve

That sounds like a good idea in theory, I hope it works for you. You are brave to sport these looks it's so hard to maintain just a front hair line for me but I'm getting better.

id be interested to see some pics if it turns out successful .

Thanks... I doubt I would be doing it for just a plain hairstyle (nothing against all of you who do). I have been switching between hair and no hair, since the weather is SO DAMN HOT... and I have issues with finding a bond that lasts more than 5 days.

I will show pics with the next unit attached.
