if finasteride inhibits the formation of DHT, does the remaining DHT in your blood still find it's way to the receptors in our scalp? Also, i read somewhere that DHT doesn't last long, so does it die every day then form again, or is there the same amount as when we started finasteride? and can't the free testosterone still mess up our follicles???? doesn't make sense.

DHT gets used by many parts of the body.. muscles and body hair follicles, etc. Sure some of it will bind to the scalp follicles, but since you have less in your bloodstream, less will bind there.

Some DHT binding to follicles isnt a bad thing. The problem is when too much of it binds to your follicles.

I dont know if it breaks down in the bloodstream, but it does get used, which is why your body is constantly producing it.
