I would love to take a NW3-NW6 guy (maybe a couple) and go to a college bar (I only say college bar because they have the same girls week after week. Get a REALLY good system placed on his head and have him try to convo with the ladies. Not even really pick them up just get their attention. Youd have to be a pretty charming and talkative guy. Comfortable with approach.
See how he does.
Then in another week or 2 have him go back with his thinning hair. Maybe alter his appearance a "TINY" bit as well.
Have him talk to the same girls and see the attention he gets then.
Anyone in the tri-state area interested in a social experiment?

omg its about research DAMNIT.... the name of science!

Ok... But why would you research something you already have the answer to ?

Are you delusional too ? Have you not accepted the fact that balding scares away prime women ?

I want actual research I would like an honest article. Perhaps I could use it to prove something, have male pattern baldness added to the host of other odd things insurance can cover. Perhaps Ill be wrong completely. Perhaps I want to prove the point in FULL to the public who still deny it.

There are a plethora of reasons....

I think you're the only one in denial though. Not to sound like a douche but society is already fully aware of what male pattern baldness can do to someone's aesthetics.

I doubt anyone will even bother reading this article considering it's about men.

who said Im in denial
You dont have to volunteer.
Most studies are done by showing pictures with either hair or a bald head digitally placed in.
Most people will not be honest in these situations anyway in fear of being called shallow.
I want some actual real world reactions.
Same way these talk shows use fat suits on women, why not do something for men.

And what do you expect to get out of this ? If you're looking for sympathy from society, you're going to be disappointed.

Hi Swing I understand somewhat the premise or more the impetus behind your curiosity, however I think I'll lean a bit harder in J's camp for this one. No offense intended.:) To be frank, this would most likely only produce more fodder for society in large to discharge against balding/bald individuals and perhaps even ingrain the "stigma". After all as you know already baldness is general societies' punching bag and/or 'object of abusement' and clearly we would not want to supply our malefactors with anymore ammunition. Not something good for the team. I respect your right to exercise your civil privileges, I just think you already possess the answer. Thanx for sharing.
