alrite. I feel that I need to better define the limits of 50-100 hairs.
First When i say losing 50-100 hair I meant seeing 50 hair in the pillow when you wake up or when you take a shower and you see 50-100 hair in the tub. Cause I've noticed lots of ppl who are incorrectly reassuring others who are shedding by saying "Oh.. thats just normal for ppl to see 50-100 hair in the tub or on the pillow, or when ya run your hand through your head and ya see like 5-10 hair everytime. Cause ppl lose 50-100 hair each day even those who do not have male pattern baldness". EERRNNGG Wrong!
Second As I did not count "every" single hair throughout the day that fell out, when I did not have male pattern baldness. So I can not actually deny nor verify the fact that we lose 50-100 hair per day. But I
know that I never woke up seeing more than 10 hair on the pillow, and I never saw more than 10 hair in the tub after showering.
before MBP i never ever even thought once about my hair even if i saw it on my pillow....now im a*** about it
Third, my cousin that I grew up with , I go over to his house to chill all the time and he's got great hair not suffering from male pattern baldness at all, I do not notice hardly any maybe no more than 2-3 hair on the pillow. Now as for me no matter how much I try to get all the hair off my bed and pillow , somehow if ya take time and look around u can find atleast 10-20 hair laying around. And yes I understand i never specifically "looked for hair on my pillow or in the tub" But u'd think u'd notice it when you wake up in the morning and first thing u see is a 30 strands of hair all over your pillow, or taking a shower and your hair keeps falling out after you run your hand through it. Theres no way of missing that!! Dont fool yourself.
Check out your pillow the next time your girlfriend stays over. Once i had a look and there was quite a lot of hair there. I was like sh*t, my girlfriend must be shedding from her baldness treatment. Then i realized she's a girl and not going bald, and therefore the 50-100 number probably isn't a conspiracy theory, its how much normal people lose.
Yes i've already done that before, infact i've even done the pull test on her. She's a cosmetologist (beautician) so she deals with lots of hairloss sufferes and non-hairlossers, and its great to have a gf who ya can share your male pattern baldness problems wit. Anyways back to subject Girls hair are longer so if lets say a hair falls out, it does not actually leave the head. It gets stuck with the rest of her hair until she either runs her hand through her hair, or washes it or combs it. So it might seem like she's losing lots of hair, but inreality she's losing a small percentage to ours, but nevertheless I'm sure you didn't see like 20-30 hair all over the pillow in the morning or she loses more than 20 hair in the tub when she showers. If she did... i'd refer her to the girls section on this site
So my point is ppl stop saying "oh its normal to lose that much hair" when ppl are actually going through a shed. If you did lose 50-100 hair a day most likely you would'nt notice more than 5 hair here or 7 hair there. But when ppl start complaining bout seeing 30-4 hair all at once at one spot then they are losing the hair!
and its not NORMAL!!![/b]
