I was just looking at old college photos, aged 24 or 25. I wasn't aware back then that I had male pattern baldness, but just looking at them now... My hair was paper thin... Looking back farther to 22-23 I was in better shape. Sometimes I forget just how much gains I got from finasteride/minoxidil, that stuff works minor miracles if you're lucky...

I was looking at my 18 y/o ID photo and NW3 was already. I haven't even notice at that time.

already at 19 I had no hair in the temple area. So, no good picture for me...

Not really.
Two years ago I had perfect hair (no recession) , and since then my hair has gotten a little worse each year. I ve been on finasteride for 9 months now and it looks like something might be improving but its very slow.
Looking back at my pictures before I started to recede actually makes me really jealous of my past self. I foolishly thought I was one of those guys who wasn't going to have male pattern baldness because a lot of my friends were losing hair but I was going strong, then second half of 26 it started.:hmmm:

Well looking back at my 21st b day pictures, I had godlike thick and long blond hair... But looking at photos from when I was 25, I've improved a lot since then. Still nowhere as thick as my 21 year old self, but a big improvement nonetheless. I can't believe I was in such denial... My hair was ****... And somehow, I got a tonne of compliments on my hair, even when it was ****... Must have been the colour...
