Even if a cure comes I will stay bald.

I don't need hair and I'm content with shaving my see through light blonde hair with a number 1 razor. My time is worth more than me then worrying about hair or trying to cure it. I've got more important things to focus on and have realized how little hair matters in the end. Stop demasculizing yourselves and go the way of yul Brynner like myself and be who you are. Be bald, be ballsy, be confident, be proud. Shine! ~ diffuser44

Confidence doesn't come from baldness. LOL.

Sounds legit... if a cure happened everyone and their mothers would spend every single penny for it.

What works for you may not work for others. If you're happy being bald then that's great, but don't expect other people to feel the same way about their own hair loss.

I don't know what your on but you sound like my dad after he started to get thinning hair and eventually bald. If there is a cure I'm gonna be on that asap.

I came back on because it had been a while since I've been here. I wanted to see if there was another "cure" on the horizon or if anything had developed with the PFS syndrome. Nothing has changed and I doubt it ever will. That's when I decided it doesn't matter to me anymore even if things do change. I'm ok with being bald. I don't need drugs, rugs, or plugs.

And no confidence is not dependent on hair. Having hair doesn't give you confidence. But it's clear the you guys need hair to have confidence which is sad to me.

You can go on living being upset with your thinning hair or you can embrace it, be proud of your genetics, and move on.

I see the same guys on here everytime I come on. There's 20 of you desperate low self esteem people constantly hiding in your dens reading this forum. Go out and live. Cut the hair. You're only not cool if your bald if you let it get the best of you. It's in your heads. Accept who you are. You guys are bald whether you treat it or not. Your kids will be bald whether they treat it or not. Stop spending money on this bull **** industry that has brain washed society and yourselves. If it wasn't for hair loss products nobody would care.

But if it makes you happy go ahead and put the heart damaging products on your scalp. Give yourself prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, high estrogen, brain fog, long term issues such as impaired short term memory.

And yes new studies shoe long term use of finasteride significantly lowers testosterone when compared to placebo

Why do you have 75 posts on a hair loss forum if you are content and happy as bald (if you are truly bald at all)? Something smells fishy here...

It's a coping mechanism, same way when ugly women say that they're beautiful to each other on facebook. They just keep lying until it becomes true in their mind.

Anything on the outside is not just in your head. I mean your physically missing your hair I dont know to imagine that you either have it or you dont. How important is hair? Its a pretty complicated question actually because it certainly affects how old you look although to what degree kind of varies by who you ask. Like a lot of times people guessing at ages end up all over the board it just depends on what you judge by. When you see a dad you think recessed Norwood 2 or 3 because its so common to go bald as you age which makes the Norwood 1 stand out so much more and make them look comparatively younger. So its hard to say hair makes no difference because it has very subtle effects.

Look at Prince William. If he was a normal guy and had gone through that transformation do you think any woman would even look at him? He looks 55 and he's only in his early 30's.

We have a wealth of evidence that this happens in the real NORMAL world with people who aren't filthy rich or born into royalty. Priveleged fullheads will deny this if only to keep us down on the social ranking since it jeopardizes their own status. How else would they know to feel good about themselves if they didnt have us to make out to be bottomfeeding shitheels? Positional good theory at its best!

I find it pretty ironic that you wrote that after taking finasteride for 8 years.
