Estrogen levels and blockers

Hello all.

Did anyone ever check their estrogen levels while on finasteride/dutasteride? Do they raise too high?

Another question is, i believe it's not wise to take something like letrozole while taking finasteride/dutasteride, or by other words, permanently?

On average estrogen rises by ~15% when taking finasteride.

I assume it's not that much? The same goes for testosterone?

I looked into this a while back, but only with moderate effort. I found no convincing evidence about the issue.

I've read (with no surprises i guess) that it can mess with other stuff in your body. Also, lowering estrogen levels that much it's not good either.

You definitely don't want to reduce your estrogen levels to zero.

There are lots of AI's out there, try and find out if some of them are dose-dependent, and maybe start at a low dose.

Not advisable to use AI long term but if you must, it would be safer to use a weaker AI such as Arimidex sparingly to keep elevated estrogen levels at a "normal" level.

I'll only use it if my Estradiol levels are too high. I'll have to check the levels first
