This is a thread for Erectile Dysfunction statistics. Please post any finds you find. I discovered that by the time you are 30, your chances of erectile dysfunction go up by 18%. By the time you are 50, your chances of developing erectile dysfunction is 37%. By 60, the percentage increases to 52%. Don't these facts worry you (especially if you are on finasteride)? I mean if I am genetically going to get E.D. at 50, then propecia may make it happen at 30. Who wants that?

Everyone knows that. Improved studies are saying that it can be as high as 5%. My concern is age related. As we age, we produce less testosterone and erectile dysfunction chances greatly increase. finasteride + normal aging must definitely raise our chance of E.D.
less than 1% report ED on finasteride.

The thing with the ED percentages in the studies is that most men aren't/weren't going to admit they had ED.

I remember getting lots of morning wood after quitting finasteride and thinking it was unusual. Also since quitting finasteride my erections seem to be stronger and don't go away quite as easily. That being said, while on finasteride everything worked the way I wanted it to when I wanted it to. I really want to start finasteride again but I think it would be way too difficult for me to deal with it. I would be so obsessed with potential sides I wouldn't be able to do it.

Congrats on leaving finasteride. There's a lot of us who have done it. It's important to keep your hair really short. No silly hair loss hiding by tussling or flipping it around. That's what I did for many years. It only leads to pain. If you accept it and keep trimmed you will be fine.

less than 1% report ED on finasteride.

In one of the finasteride studies more people on the placebo dropped out of the study due to ED than people actually taking the drug. That is a fact.

I will stop. I'm creating my own forum called fincheerleaders.com. Hopefully we get more dedicated members like coolmusti

You actually endorse this coolmusti guy? Definitely not making you look any better.
