Equate liquid minoxidil

I needed to get some more minoxidil today so i went to the store to buy the rogaine foam i had been using. Then next to the rogaine foam i saw this "Equate" brand liquid minoxidil. I picked it up because the liquid was cheaper for a larger quantity than the rogaine foam. I applied the first treatment not too long ago and i actually like the liquid minoxidil more than the foam. So has anyone used this brand? my thoughts were "minoxidil 5% is minoxidil 5% regardless of brand"

Yeah I have found the Equate brand of minoxidil to be pretty oily. It takes a while to dry, so if you apply it at night you need to give yourself at least a couple of hours before you go to bed.

yeah i would assume its not good for styling, but my hair is so short that its not possible to style anyway. I havent noticed it taking that long for it dry. But that may also have to do with my hair beingshort and its going pretty much right onto my scalp. its real easy to use. it comes with a dropper and i just fill it to the mark and then do a zig-zag pattern starting from my crown working down towards my hair line. Then take my fingers and evenly cover the top of my head. it takes less than a minute. Just remember to wash your hands after!

EDIT: if anyone is wondering, i paid $18.99 for a 3 month supply. A LOT cheaper than rogaine, considering i was paying $24 for a month supply of foam and it really only lasted my about two weeks.

Walmart carries the Equate and its relabeled as MemberMark in there Sams clubs.

Its pretty damn greasy same as Kirklands and the brand carried in Target.

Im pretty sure the Equate/MemberMark and the Target barnd are made by the same canadian company
