enlarged prostate = thinning hair?

if proscar is used to help with male pattern baldness then if a person has an enlarged prostate, could that be the contributing factor to thinning hair?

No, elarged Prostate is caused by DHT, the same thing that causes male pattern baldness.

Also enlarged prostate usually only affects old men, whereas male pattern baldness begins when you are young.
