Anyone know if Boots own brand 2% Ketaconzale (forgive my spelling!) is exactly the same stuff as Nizoral? If so I'll start using that instead, it's quite a bit cheaper.

i doubt that its *exactly* the same, but its the ketaconazole that makes nizoral useful; go for the boots stuff ;)

How much is the Nizoral you are looking at? I get a small bottle of the stuff for $12 but it lasts almost 2 months (You don't need mto use much to wash your hair).

What's the name of their own brand? I dont think I've seen that.

I know there's a brand called Nizorelle (or something like that, but its only 1%).

I don't think they do the 2% stuff but there 1% brand seems just like ordinary shampoo. Not harsh at all. Good stuff IMO.

The T-gel for sensitive scalps, which boots sells, is an excellent shampoo. I recommend this over nizoral, normal nizoral always seems to do more harm than good to my scalp.
