Emu Oil Topical Mix

Thinking of adding emu oil once or even twice a day. Want to mix some Apple powder, possibly spironolactone, possibly Retin-A. Any other good stuff I can throw in there?

Any advice on this? Are apple polys only water soluble or can I get into solution in Emu oil.

Also wondering when to apply it exactly. Thinking maybe a light coating before showering, and maybe a coating in the evening at least an hour or so before applying my Spectral DNC. Another possibility is to use it after applying my topicals in the PM to 'lock in' the solution. On the other hand I'm wondering if applying it before topicals and shampooing is a good idea since everyone talking about how good of a carrier emu oil is.

I'm already using Spectral, Revita, Rogaine Foam as topicals. Would adding this be overkill?

Anyone with any advice?

Thanks guys

OK, this damn apple powder isn't very oil soluble. How about mixing apple powder, emu oil, spironolactone and in one topical? I decided it's probably better to use retin-a separately as a cream once or twice a week. What else can I throw in there?

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best place to buy emu oil. Seems to be a lot of independent ranchers selling their oil on ebay, but which one?

Somewhere alng the line I read the % of ingredients included. It's probably posted over at the revita site. The only % I can recall off the top of my head is the caffeine at 2% - which is the same as alpecin c1.

One forum member wrote that he noticed the skin on his hands looking and feeling much smoother nt to long after starting revita - most likely attributable to the emu ol content.

Is it enough? I really don't know. But where else can you find all those cool ingredients in one topical?

My feeling is if you have to shampoo anyway . . .

This was probably me actually  I'm already using and liking Revita. Just wondering if more emu oil might be more effective since the most frequently cited study I've seen was applying it three times daily in mice.

Does anyone know the difference between regular emu oil and ultra emu oil?

http://ultraemuoil.com/

Supposedly it increases the anti-inflammatory properties by 48%. Anyon try this ultra stuff?

Well, I'll use revita in the AM - and a regular emu oil application before bed - so that's 2x daily anway. I don't think I could fit A 3rd application in there anywhere :)

Well looking at Dr. Pickart's website it seems like he's putting in ubiquinone, tocotrienols, lycopene, lutein and mixed tocopherols, along with saw palmetto oil. Any thoughts on this mix? Haven't really heard anything about the first 4 ingredients having any impact on hair loss...would any of them really be effective?

I've heard its good stuff, however I tried to use it and found it very, very messy to use. You can't go out after using it or taking a shower in the AM.
