Hi!
Was at my doctor and got Elocon(mometasone) and Avodart
Stimulates Elocon to hair growth? Should I use it or something else? Do you have any recommendations for good hair stimulation. Want to have the best result =)

I know Elocon it's cortisone and cortisone leads to increased hair growth, But have not seen anyone who has written about it here.

I have been wondering about using cortisone for hair growth, could you maybe test it for a month or 2 and get back?
Did the dr give any information about it?

Now I have Minoxidil and Elocon over 1 year. Have come to a conclusion.

I feel Elocon is a stronger material to stop hair loss. My hair loss stopped completely. Did not lose a single hair, but Elocon has several side effects compared to Minoxidil. I got very red skin and scalp were more sensitive. The skin was very thin, red.

Of Minoxidil I got a little hair loss. Lost about 5 hairs each time I showered. It stuck and dotted much on scalp.

Wonder if you can mix the ingredients together? =P

I do occasionally mix some in but does any evidence in papers confirm efficacy?

Elocon reduces irritation, swollen hair follicles, redness, inflammation and allergic reactions. One of the side effects are increased hair production on the application area.
Think I'll try to mix it with Minoxidil

Hypertrichosis is a corticosteroid steroid side effect but I could never find a study specific to male pattern baldness. I think one available minoxidil-based product has some in its formula.

I recommend to use Elocon with minoxidil if you experience itching, irritation and not getting the optimum result of stop the hair loss with only minoxidil.
It will calm irritation and inflammation of hair follicles, then you will get better results. =P
