OK guys,
So to start with Elastase: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elastase

Elastase degrades Elastin :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elastin

Elastin is involved in keeping the hair or loosing it pretty much.

I found that theory on google (HairLossTalk.com)and I think it is very very interesting:
I propose that the theory of DHT directly causing androgentic alopecia is false. DHT only comes in AFTER elastase degrades the hair connection/tip/follicle.Or alternatively, DHT is increased due to elastase

Best theory of Hair loss so far that make senses in my head lol!
We always blame DHT/Testo but there is something else for sure.

I am looking for elastase inhibitors right now:

Here is the list so far. Elastase inhibitors or promoters of anti-protease action.

Minoxidil
Capsaicin
Naltrexone
Clotrimazole
Retinoic acid
Emu oil
Copper Peptides

This is really really intereting and we need to discuss more...

I found 2 products to help producing elastin:

Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10
Kerateck Synergy TK

Have to find a product line containing both because you cannot buy directly from the manufacturer.

Finally found that!

cheap!

Keratolytic (IPA: /?k?r?to??l?t?k/) therapy is treatment to remove warts and other lesions in which the epidermis produces excess skin. In this therapy, acid medicine, such as salicylic acid is put on the lesion. Keratolytic therapy thins the skin on and around the lesion. It causes the outer layer of the skin to loosen and shed.

Keratolytics can also be used to soften keratin, a major component of the skin. This serves to improve the skin's moisture binding capacity, which is beneficial in the treatment of dry skin. Such agents (keratolytics) include urea, lactic acid, and allantoin.

While cytostatic agents such as zinc pyrithione, found in shampoos such as Head and Shoulders are first line, keratolytics (salicylic acid and sulfur) can also be used in the treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.

Sulfur and salicylic acid can also be used to treat acne and cradle cap, though sulfur products can actually worsen acne in some cases. Resorcinol is another keratolytic that is usually combined with sulfur.

Passionflower,Pycnogenol and Ursolic acid inhibits enzymes collagenase and elastase.Soy inhibits anti-elastase activity.Quercetin is its anti-elastase activity

What about the activators of the enzymes collagenase and elastase???

UV is one of them and I know that the elastase is produce by the Pancreas.

There exist two human genes for elastase:

* Pancreatic elastase (ELA-1)
* Neutrophil elastase (ELA-2)

Bacterial forms: Organisms such as P. aeruginosa also produce elastase, and is considered a virulence factor.

Results clearly demonstrated that salicylic acid had a significant impact on the number of cells that could grow in its presence; on the production of elastase, protease IV, and alkaline protease; on twitching and on flagella-associated motility and affected the production of acylated homoserine lactones in P. aeruginosa. The results also demonstrated that salicylic acid inhibited invasion and acute cytotoxicity of P. aeruginosa in HCE cells.

From the study, it basically appears salicylic acid limits the pro-elastase effects on bacteria.
