Im 17 and exactly 1 week ago i started propecia.Ive not had any sides yet but thats not what has been bothering me.My hairloss at the minute appears to be only recession but it is quite noticeable.
The thing is does taking propecia at this age stop ALL growth everywhere.Say i was supposed to grow another 2 inches height wise before i was 20,would propecia stop this?I suppose there is no way to be sure what propecia will or wont do as no one knows.Is there anyway to be sure you have finished puberty?i have quite good stubble and recently chest hair has been appearing.Are those indicators?How much did your body change after 17?What is DHT's role in puberty?
Finally what are the alternatives to propecia?,ive been on minoxidil for about 7 months with little to no results.Would spironolactone be effective along the hairline and temples?Really need some advice on this.Is taking propecia at 17 the choice between hair and being a fully grown man?
