I would rather not rely solely on meds. My brother struggled with NAFLD in his 40's. Fortunately, he's now ok, but he had to change his lifestyle. Of course, he was also prescribed meds, but having checked the info about the disease and the description of the side effects of those meds on the Online Pharmacy site, he understood that if he wouldn't change his habits, meds can't treat him. The first line of treatment was definitely the weight loss. Then he needed to accustom himself to healthy eating and exercising. He's still not thin, but his tests are way better.
