I know this topic has been beaten like a dead horse, I just want to see if any members of this forum have experimented starting with a low dosage (.25mg or even .5mg) for several months and if there are any improvements.

Also curious to see if .25mg and .5mg produce similar results to 1mg finasteride.

I'm thinking since I'm in it for the long haul, I might as well try to portion it out as much as possible so I can save some $$$ here and there.

Of course, if I start with .25mg and see no improvements, I'll up it to .5mg, then 1mg and so on.

Just wanted to see your thoughts, I'm thinking of seriously just staying on .25mg for the first 5-6 months and report back my findings. I take pictures of my crown every week or so.

The recommended dosage for hairloss is 1mg. Take the recommended dosage only. I wouldn't suggest playing with the dosage of Finasteride.
Hormonal drugs require proper dosage amount and timing. Playing around with the dosage might do your body more harm than good. Just my opinion.
