Each time I grab a portion of my hair and pull I get 5 hairs

Today isn't a good day for me. Hair are just falling out without any slight pressure. As I was working I could see 1 or 2 strands of hair just fallout. Now that I'm back at home and testing my hair abilty to stick on my head it seems like my hair isn't as strong as it was a few days ago. I softly grabbed a hand full of hair in the crown area and slightly pulled about 7 times and each time I did it I see at least 5 strands of hair inbetween my fingers.

If i put my head over my white sink and rub my head i notice I have short hairs, medium long hairs, and long hair falling out. My sides are short while the top of my hair is long.

Why is so bad today? I been shedding slowly since june and now in november its has increase drastically. I recently added minoxidil but I don't think that would cause it to shed so bad... would it? Someone chime in please.

i've heard it said that minoxidil will usually trigger a pretty strong but short term shed. My bet is it's the minoxidil.

I hope so... if i count just the amount of hairs I lost its well over 100 under 5 minutes. I still have some strands on my shirt. Thanks for commenting.

It's probably the minoxidil, forcing out the miniaturized hairs as it does its thing. Don't sweat it, and stop tugging on your hair already...

Thin is your hair in better condition than in January when you started finasteride?

I mean, besides the sheds.

Goodguy, when I first started using finasteride it halted until June I started to shed, but now at the end of Nov. its all just falling out easily. So I wouldn't say it got better in any way. Just halted and down hill its going.
