dutasteride???

So if dutasteride reduces both forms of DHT why dont more people use it instead of finasteride as it is obviously stronger and therefore more effective??? :dunno:

Bump I've been wondering the same thing.

People do use it, a lot. It just has not caught on in this hair loss forum at all for some reason. Here, everybody seems to only talk about Finasteride/Propecia.... go figure. I personally use Avodart/Dutasteride (not generic as generic sucks). I have been on it for 1.5 months, and have had a massive shed, praying that it grows back the way everybody else says it does. It def. gives me more sides than Propecia though.

Plenty people use it. Some have success from what I have seen.

Personally, I was on it 6+ months and think it raised my testosterone levels enough to nullify any benefit as my temples and hairline took a hit. IMO, different people will respond differently.
