I have been on this for 1 month but am a little concerned about the long term effects on the skin as posted elsewhere in this forum.I can't really tell if its working yet but I am wondering weather to go back to Proscar.

I have used it for around 3 and a half years but not really grown any hair.I have now started on Tricomin which I use with Minoxidil.

I am in the UK so does anyone know my cheepest retailer ?

Thanks.

For genuine dutasteride, http://www.qhi.co.uk are pretty competitive at about 40 quid for 30 - for much cheaper than that you'll have to go for the generic stuff.

As for the skin, I've only seen one member post with this problem (Chipper, I think) yet there are quite a group of us using either GSK or generic Dutasteride. I'm up to the 11.5 month mark with all my skin firmly attached, no sudden increase in spots or skin dryness.

I tried dutasteride for three months, but it dried out my skin and made it more wrinkled. So I went back to finasteride.

Quite a lot of it up and left between months 6 and 8 but this is filling back in quite quickly now. At this rate, another couple of months will get me back to where I was pre that (heavy) shed and that'll leave me with seemingly male pattern baldness free coverage (at least when my hair's dry) everywhere bar the front inch or so. Then it's crossed fingers time to see if dutasteride can work its magic on my hairline over the next 6 odd months.
