Hi all,
Just a few results from my 9 months on dutasteride. All in all, very positive, although I still scare the hell out of myself every now and then. Really, I wish I knew why this bothered me so much. Every time I think I'm losing hair, my self-confidence deserts me. Rather than messing around with hair loss cures I'd much rather just be one of those guys who loses hair, accepts it, and just gets on with life.
Anyway, I'm not so...I was on finasteride for about 2-3 years before it started to fade a bit, added Folligen & Lysine for about 4 years which worked very, very well - grew back a lot of hair - before it too started to fade off a bit last year. Now on dutasteride for about 9 months which has thickened up the front a lot, and is working on the back too. I am currently freaking out about the fact that it looks a little thinner at the back, but am fairly sure that its my last haircut that is doing it. Will no doubt be posting again soon if not.
I am thinking seriously about just shaving my head. I am honestly sick and tired of worrying about this thing and the effect is has on me, I do often wonder if it might be easier to shave my head whilst I have the choice, and just get used to the shape of my face with very little hair! Any opinions on this? Do you worry less about losing hair when you head is shaved?
Anyway, in this post at least things are positive. Bye for now guys.
