Hi guys, i was just wondering if i could get some opinions regarding my regimen.

I was wondering which i should choose?

dutasteride+Spectral DNC+5%spironolactone? or dutasteride+Spectral DNC+Proxiphen?

I dont know wheather to choose Proxiphen cream or 5% spironolactone, to go along with my regimen. I use a low dose of a aromatize inhibitor called AIMF, which lowers estrogen, and as a result it increases testosterone. dutasteride increases testosterone aswell, and i beleive testosterone also plays a role in hairloss.

So im wondering if Proxiphen contains enough spironolactone in it to be as effective an anti-androgen as just using 5% spironolactone itself. Proxiphen has lots of other goodies in it, so i dont know what to do. I want to protect my frontal hair so in a few years im not slowly thinning there due to testosterone.

Any advice guys?

Thanks.

hey stax
if money isnt a problem i would suggest going for proxiphen especially when trying to help the hair line, and to be on the safe side you can use proxiphen at night before bed on the hair line and spironolactone 5% in the morning. That should do the trick

Thanks, but the reason why i listed those choices ( either 5% spironolactone OR Proxiphen ) is because i can use ONLY one.

I use Spectral DNC in the monring and that makes my hair stiff enough as it is. There is no way i can apply anything else in the day time, and 5% spironolactone smells like a SKUNK so how the hell could i apply that in the day time???

Try Gen Hair's version of the spironolactone 5% cream. Their version is said to not smell, and in fact, instead has a more "minty" sort of smell. http://www.genhair.com

I plan on gettin it myself in a few more weeks after I save up (since their version is a bit pricey -- $90 bucks for a 3 months supply)

stax if you had to pick then maybe you should go proxiphen, i doubt that spironolactone once a day will help much anyway...
