Dutasteride Just Arrived - Is it legit?

Hey everyone,

I've been surfing this discussion forum for a little while now. It's been really helpful (thank you to everyone who contributes).

As the title suggests, I just received my first shipment of generic Avodart from a "reputable" online pharmacy (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link), but want to make sure that the stuff looks legit before trying it. I attached a picture of the generic pill next to a real Avodart pill, as well as pictures of the front and back of the capsule packet. Does the stuff look real?

Also, I just wanted to mention what my plan was and get your thoughts. I've been on Finasteride (generic) for about a year, but I continued to lose hair at a pretty aggressive rate (I'm 25 years old now). Essentially, I went from a little thinning in my vertex area to thinning all over the top of my head, a slight recession in hair line, and my vertex is starting to become noticeable (even when dry). After a year of 1.25mg finasteride (plus Nizoral and 5% minoxidil), I decided to step it up to 0.5mg Dutasteride, plus Nizoral and 5% minoxidil - thoughts on this decision? Should I continue to take Finasteride (I still have some left over).

Good decision Dave..a year is enough time for finasteride to prove itself for you.

The Dr Reddy's Dutas you have are same I take from UP.

it is exactly the same dutasteride i get but i only use dr reddys 2 times a week and avodart the other 5 days,i am about 75% sure dr reddys is legit

Yeah exactly the same packet turned up for me from Inhouse Pharmacy. Most people reckon it's legit. There are a few Dr Reddys Dutas success stories if you hunt around the forum... Oni comes to mind, maybe Aplunk?

Most people taking dutasteride no longer bother taking finasteride at the same time. CCS did so because he wasn't sure about the authenticity of his dutasteride supply. But the two drugs won't work synergistically.

Here is one way you can tell somewhat.
The stuff has a realy bad taste if you bite int tha capsul while it is in your mouth it has the worst burning taste. The nect time you take on bit the capsul of the generic one and it shoulkd taste tee same if it is true.
BUT MAKE SHURE YOU HAVE A FULL GLASS OF WATER WHEN YOU DO THI TEST BECAUSE THE TASTE IS REALY GROSS

Yeah I noticed that too and I had a few other people tell me that as well.

so i just odered dr. Reddy's dutas from inhouse...I shouldnt have any worries then if it looks like that?
