are there any other, higher doses than 0.5mg per pill ?

if someone wants to take say - 1.5mg a day, its already costs as much as Ru (more or less),
i guess that 2.5mg in one pill will be only just a little more expensive than 0.5 pills, yet - far cheaper than taking 0.5mg X 5 to make it 2.5mg...

so - in short -
is there a dutasteride pill stronger than 0.5mg ?

No reason to take more than 0.5mg. It's made in that dose for a reason.

There is no dutasteride pill stronger than 0.5mg. The only way to achieve a higher dose is to take multiple pills. There is nothing to gain by doing so. The 0.5mg dose already wipes out 98-99% of DHT produced by the 5-AR type 2 enzyme, and the difference in effectiveness between 0.5mg and any dose higher than this is negligible.

Not only is it far more expensive to take a higher dose than 0.5mg, it also becomes increasingly dangerous because the higher the dose you take, the more you are inhibiting the activity of the 5-AR type 1 enzyme. This enzyme is present in the brain in measurable amounts, and it appears to play no role in hair loss. The 2.5mg dose inhibits over 80% of 5-AR type 1 DHT, which is extremely risky. Even 0.5mg is risky, but much less so than 2.5mg.
