Dutasteride Causes Less Side Effects Than Finasteride !!!

ok so this are the result from a study on ncbi which shows that dutasteride has less side than finasteride 5 mg ? Is it true ? furthermore the occurence of gyno is really low , do you think that is real ?

I wonder if this might be due to people who use dutasteride are often either drastic about their hair loss thus less likely to quit, or they've tried finasteride and didn't find it effective enough weeding out people who get sides before they try duasteride.

I got little sides on finasteride but got TERRIBLE mental and physical sides on dutasteride and I mean terrible.

Conclusion from the study posted, I didn't read the full thing.

Without evidence from long-term clinical trials comparing the safety and efficacy of dutasteride and finasteride, firm conclusions regarding the relative efficacy and safety of one agent over the other cannot be made.

There does not appear to be any clinically significant difference between the adverse event profile of dutasteride and finasteride.

k because i am curently taking 5 mg of proscar daily ( =0,1 mg dutasteride) . But if ther is the same amount of sides i will take duta instead .
Which is stange that more dht inhibition doesnt cause more sides .

I have been on dutasteride for a little over two weeks now. No physical sides. I am getting unusually strong erections in the night which is a sign of increased test. I may quit soon BECAUSE it is f*cking EATING MY SCALP. I have the WORST sensations in my scalp, ever. Along with this, I am losing an unusual amount of hair. Like hundreds a day, and I barely have any hair left!! I don't know if I should continue to just drop it now.

I agree. I should listen to my body. Can you give me more specifics as to why you personally think so? Did you have a similar experience? I was hoping it would somehow resolve.

Are you taking both finasteride and dutasteride? How about try dropping finasteride instead. Just take dutasteride. I went through all these last year, so I do understand how you're feeling now.

I don´t trust in severe meds playing with hormones, most people with it don`t achieve good result, I see a lot of people that used during years this option, drop it and say that they could not advise young people to begin with it.

no, just dutasteride. I just flushed $100 worth of dutasteride down the f*cking toilet and now I am done. It makes no sense that any medication would give you such severe scalp inflammation AND be working at the same time. I am fed up with this garbage.

it's good stuff. I've tried it, doesn't do anything to combat the inflammation caused by dutasteride. Nothing would. An ice pack would take it away for five minutes, then it could come back... tingling, crawling, pulsating heart beat in MY SCALP! :/ no good.
