Dutasteride 5+ years ???

Hey Guys,

I have read a lot of different information on how long Dutasteride will work for.

I have been on it for 5 years now and I am starting to thin again in areas that had improved, so I was just wondering how others have done.

I'm at month 57 (on .5 mg/day). Frontal thinning resumed some time after the four-year mark - not sure of precisely when - albeit at a very slow rate. The difference between now & six months back is fairly minor, but there is a definite worsening.

Planning on using Prox-N on the front to try and catch male pattern baldness's massed ranks off guard....

I'm at the 6 and a quarter year mark.


I don't get the regrowth factor I used to, haven't for a long time now. I think it's just barely maintaining what's left.


I think I'll probably stop taking dutasteride in about a years time. I'm not as comfortable with it as I used to be even though I've never had any side effects to speak of.

I have been on it for 3 years now and i get regrowth on the frontline and on the top. It is still improving.... unk:
