I'm curious about switching to dutas, because i don't know if one year on proscar has helped. unfortunatley, i never took pictures. i just want to maintain, but my quarter-sized bald spot hasn't closed up. i'll probably stay on finasteride. for another 6 months to a year, but I'm scared of the serious frontal shedding on dutas. i realize that shedding is usually a good sign, but it also seems that some people don't recover from this shed. is that true? does anyone have experience with this, or know others who didn't recover from it? similarly, did anyone think that the shedding would not stop, but did, and came back stronger. a recent post asked about non-responders to propecia, who made the switch to dutasteride. and had success...but no one replied? anyone know anything about these questions? i think i've read every post in the archives, but doing a search doesn't come up with much in terms of relevance.
