Duta 2.5mg Still Doesn't Work ,shedding Is Going On......

Hello.guys.
.I have sufferred from Androgenetic Alopecia since 2015. I used to stay up all night in 2015 because I had to prepare for Exams and go to bed on morning,but my hair is so good that I assumed it was just a seasonal shedding.Until to Aug 2016,my roommate found my hair on crown is thinner after I wash my hair.I realized that it was not easy like that.I sought for doctor and the doctor prescribed me finasteride so I began to take it.however,it seemed that it didn't have any expected effect.
After 6 month taking finasteride,I swifted to Duta on Jan. 2017.It's hard for me to jugde whether it was good or not for me though it provided some effect for me.(I used to shed 30+ per day before I take Duta and I shed 20+ on Duta)But another half year passed,my hair became thinner compared with that in 2016.It made me get mad.I can see my scalp of crown after my hairs got wet so I began to find some new methods.
I add RU and topical Seti to my regimen and I increased the dosage of Duta to 2.5mg/day.I only found that shedding reduced in the first 2 weeks usage and it continued to shed in 20+/day again.It seemed that it was no effect as well.My hairs continue to get worse ...It's 1 year+ that I am on Duta.
I am so insane because it is not any solution now. Could anyone give me some suggetions?Should I use topical estradiol or other products ? I need my hairs . I really really need your help.

That is impossible. dutasteride has a 100% success rate in treating hair loss based on many studies done by people who know what they are talking about. You must be regrowing hair you cannot lose hair on dutasteride. You are more likely to get struck by lightning than for dutasteride to not work. It's simple, you are regrowing hair even if you don't believe it. The studies don't lie, the proof is in the pudding.

I'm not lying about the studies though. On paper nobody lost any more hair.. But if you take a look on hair loss forums you will find that not to be true. I can't remember the last time I read about someone having success with dutasteride. Was a long time ago.

Sorry,in my case,Duta doesn't work.No regrowth no maintainance but become thinner.The Pics is the evidence.I have taken Duta 1year+ now,no effect.

Yes I see that, I'm sorry to hear. I took finasteride and it did not work for me. Have you tried minoxidil?

No.Because I convinced that 2.5mg Duta would have been much helpful to my hairs.In fact,none of DHT inhibitor did work whatever dosage I tried.
So I want to try minoxidil or topical estradiol.Maybe it's the last try,because no other treatment for me.

Oral minoxidil and topical estradiol should do the trick, stay on 0.5 of dutasteride.

Thanks.I add 5% minoxidil to my regimen.But 0.5 Duta have not any effect on me .

Now you have your answer! I'm willing to bet on it that the dutasteride you have is fake. There is no way people would sell a whole gram of dutasteride for $10!!!

I don't know whether it fake or not.But I take a pill of Avodart everyday up to now basically.I do this in case that 2.5mg is fake.Ok ,assuming that 2.5mg is fake,but 0.5 Avodart still dosen't work.

You must be taking genuine GSK Avodart 0.5mg gel caps for a year before you know if dutasteride will work for you. Not that fake crap.

I brought GSK Avodart in hospital,10 pills about 15 dollar.Do you believe it is fake as well?I have been taken it more than one year.

It sounds like you got some fake Duta pills to me. That’s way to cheap. You got gal Avodart from a pharmacy? But only 10
Pills? I would switch to those primarily instead of your 2.5 mg placebo pills

The results of everything are always amazing in studies and then in practice it either doesn't work at all or works much much worse than the studies would suggest. F i n and d u t (Don't you f*****g autocomplete my words, stupid forum, if I want to write F I N and D U T I will) are no exception to this.

You might be shedding due to the up regulation of T due to the high doe of dutasteride. I would recommend adding oral spironolactone at low doses and work your way up if you don't experience any side effects. The spironolactone would act as a androgen receptor blocker and stop both DHT and the T from attaching to the AR receptors.

I don't know if duta even at those high doses is enough to save miniaturized hairs. I've been on finasteride for over a year and the hairs too much affected by male pattern baldness seem to be going. The relatively "healthy" ones are still there though.

So it may be a matter of how far gone you are.

Your story seems all over the place, my friend. Duta powder, $15 for Avodart pills, and only getting ten? Not sure where you are based, but you need to have a consistent regimen with legit meds, are you buying Avodart every ten days? Just confused by your story.
