DUPA! ...Jayman or anybody else? help!

i have thinning around the ears, and nape of my neck ..besides that diffuse thinning throughout...been on 1 mg finasteride for 2 years but i dont think its doing anything..

i just read that people with dupa generally dont respond too well to propecia.. about 50% respond to it or so..

@Jayman: i think i read in one of your posts where you said you thought you had DUPA as well.. whats your regimen now and is it helping?..

is there absolutely nothing you can do about dupa? minoxidil will only offset it, what do i do to address the root cause, 2 years on finasteride has done squat.

DUPA = Diffuse UnPatterned Alopecia

thinning donor area, thinning around ears and nape of neck as well as diffuse thinning in general.

according to a few websites androgens arent the cause and only a small portion of men with dupa benefit from propecia.

Androgens ARE the cause. and yes, finasteride/dutasteride will onyl work in about half the men.
