Dumb question about the location minoxidil is applied...

I found that using minoxidil increases my body hair significantly. Especially my arms. So..in saying that why does minoxidil need to be applied to a certain area (scalp) if it's growing hair everywhere else?

Nobody knows how Minoxidil works so no one can answer that question. Better apply it in the middle of the problem area in the scalp to have the maximum effect.

Minoxidls mechanism is unknown, but it can induce hyperthrichosis.
