Drying minoxidil?

is it okay if i dry my hair when i put on rogain? it wouldnt be with a blow drier but my fan cause its very hot in my room so i always have a fan on hehe.

Same effect as blow-drying it. Its not so much the heat as just the airflow evaporating the minoxidil. You need it to sit on the skin, alcohol and everything, to get absorbed.

I don't know about what kind of effect a cool fan would have on the minoxidil. I don't think it would be helpful, though. However, NEVER use a hot blow dryer after putting minoxidil on. The hot air from the dryer plus the alcohol in the minoxidil equals trouble. Really bad on the scalp.

Blowdryer + minoxidil = bye bye minoxidil. I am not sure which study it was, but during some trial it was found that one of the users with zero results had been blowdrying his hair after applications. It was found that the minoxidil was evaporated before it had a chance to soak in. You're probably right that it would be very hard on the skin as well.
