Dry and flakey scalp

I got a really dry and flakey scalp, and I think that's part of the problem that's causing my so-called "shock loss". I've been using Nizoral every now and then, not very regularly since I didn't think it really did the trick for me. Dunno, I think it's not for dry skin anyways? The other shampoo that I've used on a daily basis is called Neutrogena T/Gel for dry hair. Any suggestions what I should use?

i had the same problem with white flakes and itching but it only lasted 2 weeks after starting rogaine..i have no problem now after 2 months with rogaine and have noticed new hairs already..my scalp actually feels better now then before i started rogaine i would get dry scalp redness and itching all the time ..for shampoos iuse baby shampoo it is delicate on the skin then every few days i use cvs theraputic maximum strenght shampoo for a good cleaning ,,i usually let the shampoo settle on the scalp for at least five minutes to get penetration , maybe thats your problem that your not giving the shampoo i chance to work ,,try it!
