Anyone knows who is Dr. Lewenberg or uses his products?
His site (baldspot.com/)starts like this,
"Adam Lewenberg, MD is a pioneer in the medical treatment of hair loss and a Life Member of the New York Academy of Sciences. He was one of the first physicians to treat patients with Minoxidil in private practice. In 1986, he discovered his hair loss solution, which is the only successful medical treatment to regrow normal hair..."
He states,
"If you can see results with Rogaine (minoxidil) alone, the results you will see with Dr. Lewenberg's Formulas will be much better. Unlike the hair you might have grown with Rogaine alone, the hair that patients grow with Dr. Lewenberg's formulas is strong and healthy and grows to full length. Also, patients can regrow the hair they've lost including that of the frontal hairline."

I believe he uses a minoxidil/Retin-A combination and grossly overcharges for the product. You can get a similar product from Dr Lee at minoxidil.com or simply purchase some Retin-A and use it with dirt cheap generic minoxidil.

beaner,

From your regimen I can see you have been using CP products since 2006, can you tell me if they have helped? Have you noted any regrowth from them, just maintenence or nothing at all? Which one do you think is the best, Tricomin or Folligen?

The only thing I can say with certainty regarding copper peptides is that they've improved the quality of my scalp. I'm using finasteride and minoxidil as well so I can't say they've helped with maintainance or regrowth for sure but I think they are a valuable tool in the arsenal since they do help with irritation and inflammation. I have no opinion as to whether Tricomin or Folligen is better. I'd recommend Folligen because it is less expensive, can be diluted (recommended), and a bottle will last forever.

I use Hair Signals (the next generation of Folligen) but I dont like the product because it turns my scalp green and I hate to wash my hair in the next morning. Assuming you apply Folligen before bed how does your hair/scalp look in the next morning?

I will usually wash my hair as it leaves my hair kind of crappy/sticky. You can dilute it a bit and it won't be as bad.

You can get it at inhousepharmacy.com, unitedpharmacies.com, or alldaychemist.com. Those three online pharmacies have been used by forum members without problems. I believe it comes as a cream in tubes.
