Dr. Lee's spironolactone and other questions

I am planning to add spironolactone to my current hair loss treatment since I do not want to take Propecia. I have just a few questions:

1) Does Dr. Lee's 2% spironolactone have a Spray attachement?? I ask this because I think this is the only easiest way to apply the solution to my scalp.

2) How effective will spironolactone be on its own??

3) Has anyone had any good experiences with spironolactone to stop temple recession?

4) Since I am using CP's at the moment. Should I apply spironolactone before of after my CP's application. I am still in denial thinking that CP's are key to my treatment. :p

Thank you.

Good idea! No, it doesn't, but perhaps it should. It can't waste spironolactone any worse than that old dauber bottle would.

Two studies have proven this effective, but regrowth is most enhanced by a combination of minoxidil in the mix.

Yes. Temple recession is stopped cold. But, regrowth is mostly seen in areas of existing but thinning hair, and "reclaimed real estate" depends on how soon you have caught it.

If you are using spironolactone 2%, the order would be spironolactone 2, followed by minoxidil, followed by copper peps.

Thanks Gardener! You really know your stuff!!!

You say that temple recession stopped. Is that from using the cream or the spray version???

What time duration should I give between my CP's application and spironolactone??

Gardener, say we take the Copper Peptides out of the mix...would you sitll apply spironolactone before minoxidil? I thought minoxidil was supposed to be applied first and then the spironolactone?

Liquid spironolactone-- always before minoxidil application.

Cream-based spironolactone-- always post-minoxidil.

As a personal note, wait at least an hour before applying copper peptides AFTER you apply the spironolactone...

The spironolactone oxidizes as a result of the immediate application of copper peptides, resulting in a brownish color on your scalp.

If you don't believe me, try it yourself. It looks nasty.

I also have one more question.

What is the liklihood of any regrowth on spironolactone?? Has anybody that has used it found any difference in the amount of hair on their head???
