Yeah there is a lot of scams out there and its always been something I have been highly sensitive to so I don't mean to lecture like a hypocrite. But once we know something is solid I do believe we should relax. A lot of us are absolutely fucked if these companies go away. I know I would be. I literally cannot use off the shelf minoxidil without being in pain and I am not exaggerating.

Jacob you might remember (I swear you have been around before 05 right?) but I used to scratch my scalp so bad my scalp would bleed. Do you remember that?

I used minoxidil 5% and had severe reactions. I was so depressed about hair-loss I kept going and put up with the side effects. Stupid! After three weeks it got so bad I woke up one morning and had scratched so bad I had streaks of blood down my face from scratching in my sleep. That is insanity at its core. I had a lot of crap going on so I wasn't thinking straight.

Thankfully I have moved on enough in my life that if these treatments stopped I would shrug it off.

But I also see no problem with pointing out when things seem...goofy. Let me just interject something between you two as I think both of you are getting tunnel vision.

When it gets down to it I don't give a flying f*ck who is behind what or who is making what nor should you, to this level anyway.

As long as the company is selling LEGIT products that are well intentioned lets move on from making it personal. The more companies out there who are selling this stuff the cheaper it will be for US and the harder they will work to make products for US.

I hope all these companies making the legit products make a shitload of money from us. You have to look at the big picture. Dr Lee was wiping his *** with $100 bills and he kept making new products. That's good for us. Even if you didn't like the products others did. Dr Proctor isn't as well known and it seems to me as if he has stopped caring about new products for a VERY long time.

So....lets settle down and group hug eh?

Cassin I do agree. We need more good products not less. If I find out these products are not legit in any way, they will be very unhappy they sold them to me. I will totally share it with everyone.

I have nothing against Jacob. Especially since I believe in a truly multi faceted

I am very hesitant to make a blanket statement but I feel ok doing this now as I am sure that any newbies will be so confused by this thread they won't have read this far...

But a company that uses Amazon and/OR Paypal are most likely selling legit products at least in terms they have the contents they claim and aren't in there to rip people off. Amazon and especially Paypal are consumer slanted and are viscous against companies who receive complaints. They are not business friendly so they won't last long if they are pissing people off.

@ Jacob - I'm sorry but I think anyone who doesn't find the whole thing kind of suspicious is crazy. First of all, I will say that I have nothing personal against Dr. Lee; I've used Dr. Lee's products in the past. I liked how he offered a variety of minoxidils, none of which would cause as much irritation as generic liquid minoxidil. I tried 5% minoxidil with Retin-a, 5% minxoidil with low ppg, and I was going to purchase topical spironolactone before the site shut down. I was disappointed when the site was shut down. It is hard to believe that the fda wasn't actually involved, seems like too much of an elaborate plot, and also seems like something that could easily be revealed as phony if it was a fabricated story. That being said, I don't understand why 1. Dr. Lee would give his explicit approval of this site after being shut down by the FDA. Couldn't he get into trouble for that? 2. Why would he go through the trouble of testing these products? 3. Why would he give his approval of these products if someone dishonestly stole them from him? I would be pissed if someone stole my forumulas to make a profit, and I wouldn't help them out by telling my previoius customers that they have my exact same product. I'm not saying he made up the FDA ordeal just to make a few extra bucks, however it is possible. The whole story of some mysterious website popping up, with the exact same products, and Dr. Lee approving of it, just seems way too bizarre for me to buy it. Also, I don't know if you're implying I'm a shill or you were just talking about Jacob, but I think Cassin and other posters would vouch for me, been on here almost 2 years, over 1000 post, and never pushed any product.

Oh I will at some point. The last time I placed an order for foam I received it the day they released the non scented. Just my luck as I cannot stand the way the scented foam smells. Considering I only use minoxidil once a day whatever product I use lasts me a very long time...especially something like foam when tend to rotate it in with liquid.

I used Dr Lees and Rogaine scented foam for years and it was a great combo until I literally could not stand the smell anymore.

Now I will probably use MinoxidilMax and Rogaine foam unscented. Even without the smell the it tends to mess your hair up and it doesn't "foam" very well in high heat/humidity.

I'm thinking of applying minoxidil once a day, did you experience shedding? Also, I can't stand the smell of scented foam either. I have like 3 cans of scented that I might just get rid of because I just got an order of unscented and I will probably just stick with those.

Ok, so much for the FDA conspiracy theory. You might be on to something with the left over bottles Jacob. Minoxidil solutions even has the same bottles as Dr. Lee's products, at least according to the pictures on the websites. They may have stolen the formulas but did they also steal the bottles, the font, the design of the packaging etc.? Also, why would Dr. Lee give his approval of this site if they stole his formula? The FDA info answers some questions but also leaves many unanswered.
