Ive been using 5% Kirkland for 2 years now with awesome results. Unfortunately in addition to the hair growth, it gives me horrible white flaking.

Does the non PPG version help stop this?

Anyone with hands on experience if you could please let me know that would be great.

Yes that one of the bad things about Kirklands is its greasy and flaky when it dries.

Dr Lee's regular 5% dries clean and fast and Ive never experienced any flaky residue from using the regular 5%.

The non PPG should be even cleaner though its only recommended to use the non PPG formula if you have a sensitivity to the PPG like inflammation.

Both are great products and Ive had incredible regrowth using his formulas as seen in my tell your story thread.

I use Dr.Lee's ppg-free 5% minoxidil and have no flaking problems. it is greasier than regular minoxidil so I use it in the evening.

So what you're saying is that Dr Lees regular 5% minoxidil will not cause me to flake?

I dont need to get the PPG free version?

I dont have inflammation from the Kirkland, just bad flaking. Im not sure if its skin or just dried up flaky minoxidil.

I thought someone told me before that the non PPG version can almost guarantee no flaking.

Can anyone else verify before I place an order?

Minoxidil is a powder in its original form. After the alcohol evaporates and the solution dries, it leaves the unabsorbed minoxidil crystals on you scalp. That is probably what you're seeing, not skin flaking.
