Hello,

Wanted to post my experience and results. I’ve had fantastic results with rogaine and microneedling and have created another post detailing this. Well worth a read.

My experience with Asmed was great and identical to everyone else’s on here so I won’t repeat.

The only thing I felt was a little lacking was the written English in the initial email correspondence. It was clear that they didn’t understand all my questions clearly and the answers where lacking. But overall the whole experience was fantastic.

I had 3100 grafts put in my temples and hair line. It moved my hairline 1-2cm forward - past where it has ever been.

I’m at the 9 month point. I guess I’d like more density. The new hair is a bit curly at present.

What with my rogaine success I feel really pleased with the way my hair looks.

Here is some pics. The first few are those I originally sent to asmed.

Looks bloody fantastic pal! You're in a good position anyway because you look good with a shaved head as well. No finasteride? I'm just wondering what your future plans are assuming you're going to continue to bald - another transplant as and when it's needed?

Thanks very much. No finasteride as I suffer from depression and not worth it for me.

Rogaine works fantastic for me, so it’s hard to say exactly what the transplant has done. The front cm is the only area which is new and is a bit thin but makes a good natural look when styled. hair transplant can look unnatural imo when it’s too solid at the front line.

While rogaine is working I have no future plans for my hair. I have every reason to think I will see further results with rogaine and the hair transplant so I’m
In a good place.

If I started to bald any where I wouldn’t hesitate to have another hair transplant as I am comfortable financially.

If you can afford it, I don’t see the point in waiting till your hair slowly recedes to a certain point.

My hairline is better then it’s ever been. My only regret is waiting till 37. Why watch your hair have a slow painful death knowing you’ll have a hair transplant eventually. Get the hair transplant upfront and enjoy it while your younger. Your getting better return for your money in my opinion.

No I’d say the density is uniform across the hairline.

Yeah mine is little bit thicker it seems at front middle but I only have stubble from 2 weeks ago which will fall out soon, its amazing though even with the stubble it thickens up the hair dramatically.

Any pics mate? Which clinic did you go to - that Hair Restoration BlackRock seems to do a lot of celebs?

I'll ask Doctor for pics and post in few weeks, black rock are a rip off like 20000, I paid 8000 for 2000 grafts, Dr nel had hood rep and result's, he trained under Dr feruidini in Belgium and is an audiotor I thin k on the ametica n hair transplant board. Not cheap but hassle free experience.

Hey man, i read both of your posts and have to say that your hair transplant looks really good + it seems you are a great responder to minoxidil and dermarolling.
I am in similar position as you, 3months ago i did fue on my hairline and started with minoxidil right after the procedure. I also use dermastamp 1,5mm weekly but on top of my head, not on transplanted area - hairline.
I have a few question:
- when did you start to see some new hair from hair transplant? I am at 3months mark now and i am just starting to see few hair but there is no density jet.
- if i understand correctly you use dermastamp 1,5mm daily? How is with healing in such a short period of time between sessions?
- do you find it hard to apply minoxidil as you have pretty long hair? Is this the reason you apply it only in the evening?
Thanks man & good luck

Pleased to help.

If you look at the blurry pic where you can see mostly my phone. That was about month 2. You can see my natural hairline (already a bit better because of rogaine). You can see the hair transplant just starting to appear. So sounds like your the same.

No issues at all with daily derma stamping. Scalp is clean no dandruff.

I use 1.5mm and stamp about 100 times parting my hair with a comb and stamping along the line. It sometimes leaves little red dots but it doesn’t draw blood so no issue. There’s nothing to heal really I do it before bed and I never notice any marks in the day - the red dots by the morning.

To put the min in my longer hair I use a syringe with a long thin point. I ordered some teeth whitening gel that come in syringes and when they was empty I cleaned them out and use them. I attached a pic. I just suck up 3ml of min. Then run the fine point along my scalp while squeezing syringe. It delivers it easy and quickly right where you want it.

Takes me a couple of minutes to stamp and apply min. I just do it before bed. It can make my hair a bit hard to style and greasy so yes that’s why I do it before bed.
